Established in 2014 by a dedicated transgender activist, Nu Trans Movement began by holding vigils for Black transgender women who were victims of hate crimes and distributing safe sex work kits in low-income areas.
Today, we provide identity document correction services, cultural competency training for law enforcement, HIV prevention, and peer support — serving over 200 individuals across New York and Texas.
